Denny, many mixed emotions as we were together more years than we were divorced. I chose to remember all the good years and memories we shared. You are in a better place now free of any pain. You are with your parents and our baby girl. You were loved and you will be missed. Rest in peace

My condolences to the Mathews family sorry to hear about Dennis, he will be missed by all of us he was a one of a kind person I also remember all of the overnight fishing trips to Belmar, New Jersey fishing for Blues those trip were enjoyed by all of us on the trip.
It was also an enjoy trip many years ago when Dennis came with me, Crystal, Brandon and my mom and dad to Myrtle Beach SC. Dennis will be missed for his funny sense of humor. You would always ask him a question and he would say what did you say you say it again he still didn't hear you we always had to tell him to turn up his hearing aid he would turn it up and than wave his hand next to ear so he could hear the whistling noise then he knew it was working. RIP Dennis
Love Eric, Crystal, and Brandon Horvath

He still did that with his hearing aides after all these years, even with his dementia diagnosis. Some of the things that drove us crazy @ the time are now fond memories that can make us laugh during this. Thanks for sharing

You're so right on target with my dad loving his ice cream, along with some of his other goodies- his cabinet was always well stocked with gum/mints/yogurt pretzels, etc. Thanks for being such great friends to him all thru the years & sharing some of your stories together!

I remember visiting Denny and my sister Ann when I was younger. My niece and nephew (Denise and Brian) were not much younger than I! Denny was always making jokes, and he always made me and the rest of my family feel welcomed. I sincerely send my heartfelt sympathies to the whole extended family.
