There is so much I want to say here but I can only say this... In 2010 I went through a very tough time in my life and Pat was the only one there for me. He invited me into his home but I couldn’t because I was ashamed at myself at the time to visit. He asked me to call him one day and I did. It was the first conversation Pat and I have ever had even after knowing him for 30 years throughout our years in school. We talked for about an hour or so and he explained his life to me and basically told me I needed to fix my issues and said to reach out to him if I ever needed his help. That was the type of guy Pat was. I wish now I would have made that visit to see him. I will miss his jabs at me on fb and trust me I had hard jabs back at him which made him and I both laugh. Pat was a Brother in Christ as he told me during our phone call so I know Pat is looking down on us and his family right now. I know Pat will missed by many as I will myself but, I will stand strong for him as he would want me to and to rejoice the memories he and I spent together on fb as we all should however you spent time with Pat. I know that is the way Pat would want us to remember him. RIP my friend. You made a mark in this world and only you know now, how you did and you did great. My God keep blessing you as you have blessed us and you will never be forgotten.

I'm devastated at the loss of my dear friend Pat. Thanks for all the laughs, lessons, hijinks and good times. We are diminished.
