SYLVIA I. MILLER, 87, formerly of Palm, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Lutheran Home in Topton. Born in New Jersery, she was a daughter of the Late Fred and Alma (Johnson) Peterson. She was the loving wife of the Late Paul D. Miller who passed away in 2000.

Sylvia Miller was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Old Zionsville. She was a sewing machine operator at Devon Mills in Eschbach for 10 years retiring in 1981.

Survivors: daughters: Patricia, wife of Dr. John Slavek, of Telford, Cynthia, wife of Richard Schmaldinst, of Zionsville, and Susan, wife of Herminio Marin, of Barto; grandchildren: Kimberly wife of Mario Infanti, Jennifer wife of Stephen Morshead, Paul Schmaldinst and his wife Debra, Kurt Schmaldinst and his wife Amy, Philip Schmaldinst and his fiance Selma, and Annette, Joel and Rita Marin; great grandchildren: Devon, Tyler, Ethan, Colin, Jean, Alec, Alyssa, Andrew, Skyler, Michael, and Hailly. She was preceded in death by a sister Ruth.

Services: 11:00 AM on Monday, September 17 at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Old Kings Highway, Old Zionsville. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM prior to services.
