Obituary for Charles Edward Koch Jr.

Charles Edward  Koch Jr.
Charles E. Koch, Jr, 86, formerly of Schnecksville, PA died Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Whitehall Manor surrounded by his family. Born in Hazleton, PA, he was the son of the late Charles E. Koch, Sr. and Gertrude H. (Meiss) Koch. He was pre-deceased by wife of 56 years Grace M. (Warren) who died in 2012. He served in the US Army as a Sargent in the 25th Infantry – 21 AAA Automatic Weapons Battalion Battery C division in the Korean War. He was a mechanic for the United States Postal Service where he retired in 1989. He was an avid race fan who spent his time at local dirt race tracks. He also worked for many years as a tow truck driver on the NASCAR circuit tracks.

Survived by his daughters; Denice M. wife of John Romanyzyn of Emmaus, PA, Nancy L. Zellner of Whitehall, PA.; son Paul C. Koch and his wife Ann of Alburtis, PA. Brother; Robert Koch and his wife Carol Jane of Sugarloaf, PA. Grandchildren: Tara Hatfield, Michael Koch, Stacy Dreher, Wayne Zellner II, Amanda Seiss. Great-grandchildren: Kendra Zuber, Alanna Young, Calista Young, Charlotte Koch, Briella Dreher, Reagan Seiss. Pre-deceased by brother; William Koch; granddaughter, Holly A. Zellner; son-in-law Wayne K. Zellner.

Services: Will be held privately at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
