William “Bill” J. Wolf Jr., 57, of Pennsburg, passed away after a long battle with cancer on June 21, 2020, with his family by his side. He was the beloved fiancé of Lee Ann Wood of Pennsburg. Born in Easton, he was a son of William J. Wolf and Sandra Jean (VanHorn) Wolf, of Ambler. He worked for many years as a bricklayer with the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union Local 1 in Pennsylvania. Bill was an avid outdoorsman; loved fishing and hunting, especially grouse and small game hunting. He also enjoyed Moose and Deer hunting. He raised and trained dogs for field trials all over the country. His current companions were his English Pointers, Jack and Nick. He also loved his feline friends, Sissy and Stinker and raised and cared for carrier pigeons.

Surviving with his fiancé and parents are his brothers: Jeffrey and his wife Sue of Harleysville, and Douglas and his wife Marcia of Ft. Washington.

All are invited to a viewing from 10-11:30AM on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 424 S. Main St, North Wales, PA 19454. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30AM. He will be laid to rest privately; at the spot he chose in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery in East Greenville. Please be reminded that all are required to wear a mask at the church during Mass and for the safety of everyone, social distancing must be observed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the memory of William J. Wolf Jr. to the following address: Abington Health Foundation: Asplundh Cancer Pavilion, 1200 Old York Rd, Abington, PA 19001, or online at give.abingtonhealth.org/donate.

Ron and I are so sorry to hear about Wolfie, I was a great guy. I'm so glad that we had the chance to know him. And I'm also happy that I got to help him bring up the big deer he got.

I remember first meeting Bill when I was in middle school hanging out with Doug. He was the way cool older brother who was entertained (maybe annoyed) by us kids thinking we were the cool ones. Bill was always happy and chill. It has been 30+ years of knowing him and he remained the coolest older brother in my eyes. He was a fighter until the end with the most positive outlook. I am so happy we got to enjoy the last Rolling Stones concert together. Although I will miss him dearly, I know he is at peace. I send all my love and prayers to Mr & Mrs Wolf, Jeff, Doug, Marcia, Lee and the entire Wolf family.
