Obituary for William David Hopkins

William D. “Ted” Hopkins, 81, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Jeanne (Kulp) Hopkins by his side on October 18, 2019. Born in Springfield, MO, he was a son of the late William D. and Mary (Mayfield) Hopkins. He served his country honorably in the Navy. Ted was an entrepreneur. He was the owner of the former Tee To Green golf shop and the former Fitness Works, both in Harleysville. He also owned and operated Faraday’s Health Food Store in Pennsburg. Earlier, he was the Business Manager for the former Nyce Manufacturing in Harleysville. After retirement, Ted worked for several years as a bus driver in the Boyertown School District.

Surviving with his wife are his children: Andrew and his wife Lauren of Springfield, PA, and William D. “Ted” Hopkins III of Warrington, PA, and Margaret Kline of Pennsburg; his grandchildren, Michael and Keira Hopkins; and his siblings: Darrell Hopkins of Pennsburg, and Vida Rogers, and Jean Kleier both of Springfield, MO; and his mother in law: Geraldine Kulp of Harleysville. He was predeceased by siblings: Betty, Gerry, Maxine, and John.

All are invited to visit with the family from 11:30 on November 1, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073. A Celebration of Ted’s Life will begin at 1 PM.
