Tamara L. “Tammy” Harron, 59, of Wilson Borough, passed away May 30, 2019 with her husband and daughters by her side. She was the beloved wife of Brad Harron. They were married 28 years last June. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of Marie (Adams) Adams Rasley, of Bethlehem and the late Frank Adams.
Tammy was a graduate of Bangor High School and Moravian College. She received her master’s in special education from East Stroudsburg University. She was a Special Education Teacher at the Wilson Area Intermediate School where she began an after-school Chess Club with her daughter, Amanda. She was a member of the Wilson Area Education Assn, and the National Education Association. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and was a passionate advocate for her students. Most of all, Tammy dedicated her life to be the best wife, mother, daughter and sister that she could be.
Surviving with her husband and mother, are daughters: Amanda and Ashley of Easton; and Jamie of New Haven, CT; a sister: Barbara, wife of Kaus Dastur, of Greenville, DE; many nieces & nephews: and her beloved rescue dogs, Aleut and Kashia.
A Celebration of Her Life will be at 10 AM on Saturday, June 15th at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown. Friends may call from 9-10 AM.
