Dear Jeff,
Judy and I were saddened to hear of Tammy's passing. Mary Lynn and Lucy Kern both called us with the news. Living so far away and our infrequent visits to East Greenville, we didn't get to know her too well, but I do remember both of you joining Aunt Mary, Aunt June and us occasionally for lunch at local restaurants when we were passing through and visiting together at the Bauman reunions. Please know that we are thinking of you and your family in this time of sorrow and our prayers are with you.

Your Cousin, Jack & Judy Bauman

Tammy was a wonderful teacher of students who were struggling with emotional challenges. I'll always remember visits to her classroom during the last period of the school day when her students were basically going bonkers. She was always so calm. How she did it I don't know. Her care for them and professionalism was what attracted me to her as a colleague. Despite the challenges, my work with her is one of my fondest memories at UP. I will so miss our breakfast conversations. Rest in peace dear friend.

Jeff, I am sorry to hear about Tammy's passing. Tammy and I taught together for a number of years. In particular, I always respected her literary and historical knowledge. Tammy was an expert and compassionate supporter of her students. Most often, she and her students were included in the regular education classes. She was an asset in those classes and her students were well cared for. Tammy exemplified the meaning of teamwork. My prayers go out to you and your family.
