Obituary for Stanley Merkel Geiger
Stanley M. Geiger, 96, of Harleysville, passed away on June 15, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Miriam (Gerhard) Geiger. Born in Salfordville, he was a son of the late Irvin and Minerva Geiger. Early in life, he worked on the family dairy farm. Following that, he worked for Superior Tube in Collegeville and then for the former Keller’s Pottery and then the former J.W. Rex. He was a long-time member of Advent Lutheran Church in Harleysville.
Along with his wife, Stanley is survived by his daughter, Debra Membrino; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Larry, and siblings: Wellington, Clarence and Mabel Gerhard, Edna Buck, and Grace Kolb.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Upper Salford Volunteer Fire Company, 782 Old Skippack Rd, P.O. Box 157, Salfordville, PA 18958.
