Obituary for Sarah Eleanor Sperry (McKinley)

Sarah Eleanor Sperry, 93, of the Rockhill Community, Sellersville passed away December 1, 2021. She was the widow of Evert Victor Sperry. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Albert E. and Sarah E. (Pringle) McKinley. Sarah began her career working for the former McKinley Publishing Co. as an office clerk. Later, she was employed by the Souderton Area School District as an aide and a crossing guard. Finally, she worked for the Triangle Building Center as an Accounts Payable Clerk before retiring in 1993. Sarah was a member of the Towamencin Mennonite Church in Kulpsville.

Surviving are a sister: Margaret Lamparter of Florida, children: Linda Black, of Jim Thorpe, Doreen Wesner, of Hatfield, Albert Veltman, and Cheryl McMillan of York. 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her sibling: Albert E. McKinley III.

Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, December 7th, 1pm, at the Towamencin Mennonite Cemetery, 1980 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville.
