Ruth lived her formative years in the beautiful countryside of Applebacksville and Bedminister, PA. She was proud to be an Alumni of Quakertown High School. At the age of 17, Ruth's Grandmother made it possible for her to attend Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. For the next 35 years, Ruth faithfully served alongside her husband in pastoral ministry in the state of Michigan, and as missionaries to Japan in the late 1960s. Upon the passing of her husband in 1983, Ruth enjoyed living in Ocala, FL and Springfield, MO. In 2013, she returned to her beloved Pennsylvania, to live her remaining days peacefully, and near to family.

All along Ruth's journey in life, many deep abiding friendships were created. She will forever be known or her steadfast dedication to her Heavenly Father, her masterful workmanship of sewing, her love of flowers and birds, and her family will always remember her labor of love in baking the best homemade cherry pies.

Ruth’s remains are now lying close to her Grandfather and Grandmother’s in beautiful Applesbacksville. She lived a long, full life. She was loved. She is missed.
