Obituary for Rosemarie F. Arcieri (DeSiato)

Rosemarie Faith Arcieri, 88, of Zionsville and formerly of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021. She was the wife of the late Michael S. Arcieri who passed away in 2001. Born in Somerville, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Marie (Reimers) DeSiato. She was a member of Community Bible Fellowship Church in Red Hill.

Ro was a highly dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. She combined the qualities of strength, independence, and intelligence with kindness, concern, and generosity. She graciously invested much time and energy in enhancing the life of everyone she knew. Even with all this encouraging involvement, she found the time to earn her BA. She enjoyed working full time as an administrative assistant for various companies for 26 years, when she retired and moved to Las Vegas with her husband.

Among her hobbies over the years were being a Cub-Scout Den Mother, acting in the Pennington Players and the Princeton players, traveling with her husband, reading mystery novels, crossword puzzles (which kept her mind quite sharp), playing cards (with the ‘church ladies’), watching TV documentaries, a monthly trip to the dollar store, and painting. She regularly kept in touch with so many via phone calls and cards. While living in Pennsburg she participated in Golden Agers and activities at the Senior Center.

She was a tremendous blessing to her son James and wife Vicki, during the 16 years she lived with them in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Ro was closely interested in and incredibly supportive of her grandchildren. She regularly treated all of us for holiday meals, even when she could not be there in person. We are all grateful beneficiaries of her sacrificial spirit; genuine love is her indelible legacy.

She lived this past year at the Villages at Life Quest in Quakertown, where the staff and fellow residents found her to be a bright light in their lives in this stressful time.

Surviving are her sons, Dr. James Arcieri and his wife Vicki of Pennsburg, and Michael Arcieri of LaQuinta, CA; her grandchildren: Elyce, wife of Charles Santos, James, and Joel; Great-Granddaughters Lucy, Norah, and Briar; her sisters: Angelina, wife of Janes DeCicco of Beach Haven, NJ, and Roslyn, wife of Paul Reid of Trenton ME; sister-in-law Karen Kulinich, Georgia.

As per her wishes, no services will be held. To offer your support to the family, visit her “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com. Donations in her honor may be given to Community Bible Fellowship Church, POB 281, Red Hill PA 18076, or the American Cancer Society.
