Obituary for Robert Bruce Newman
Robert Bruce Newman, 81, of Harleysville passed away on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Georgine (Ervin) Newman and his first wife the late Adele (Eshelman) Newman. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Norman and Mary (McCord) Newman. Robert served our country honorably in the Marine Corps and went on to work for Merck as a production mechanic.
Robert is survived by his children: Robert Newman Jr and his wife Brenda(Alspach), and Stacie Suida and her husband Charles, all of Schwenksville; and Sherry Rosenberger and her husband Lee, of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Cierra Turner, Micaela Harris, Derek Alspach, Tyler Sargent, and Jacob & Luke Suida; great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Dominik, Deegan, & Sawyer Turner; Everly Harris, Alexis Evanco, and Keira & Ava Wilson; siblings: Ken Newman, of Lansdale; Carol Parks, of Missouri, and Jeff Amick, of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Candace Grookett, Pamela Tomesetti and Richard Amick.
Memorial service will be held on April 30th 1-6 pm as an open house, at 248 Laureen Road, Schwenksville PA 19473
