Robert L. Nentwick, 75, of Red Hill, PA and formerly of Philadelphia and Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 12, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Wilson) Nentwick. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Jane (Triner) Nentwick. He is a 1962 graduate of East Liverpool High School. He served his country honorably in the Air Force where he was stationed in Guam, where he worked in the Armed Forces Radio. He continued to work in radio, later as a Program Director, first for 99.9 KISS Country Radio in South Florida and then 92.5 WXTU in Philadelphia. His talent in radio was recognized when he was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in Nashville in 2009. He was also recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus by his alma mater, East Liverpool High School on July 4, 2010.
Surviving with his wife are his children: Craig and his wife Sithida of Philadelphia; Melissa and her husband Richard Kessler of Pennsburg, and Christopher of North Lauderdale, FL; his grandchildren: Lindsey and Lucy Nentwick; his sister, Rebecca Standley Nentwick of Springfield, MO; and his lifelong friend, Bill Jones and his wife Kathy of East Liverpool, OH.
Due to the current health crisis, services will be held privately.
