Pauline Shoop, 77, of Orefield, passed away August 22, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Katheryn. She was the beloved wife of W. Wayne Shoop. Born in Canton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Vada Mae (Stauffer) Mercurio. Pauline lived most of her life in Creighton, Pa. She graduated with honors from EDFRA High School. Pauline was the Office Administrator for G.C. Electric in Allentown for many years. She was a member and former president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors. Pauline enjoyed walking, reading, and gardening. She was known to play computer games for hours.
Surviving with her husband, are children: Nanette Bush, of Jim Thorpe; Jeffrey Shoop, of Catasauqua, and Katheryn Kirkwood, of Pennsburg; sisters: MaryLou Poli, of Breckenridge, PA; and Donna Simpson, of Natrona Heights, PA; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Charlotte Montgomery, and an infant brother, Michael.
A Celebration of her Life will be held privately. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
