Paul L. Boyer, 91, of East Greenville passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2020. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Kriebel) Boyer. Born in Palm, PA, he was a son of the late Charles and Sallie (Derr) Boyer. Paul served our country honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War . He worked for Bethlehem Steel, Pottstown, as an I-beam painter, then returned to farming on the family farm. After farming, he began driving bus for Levy School Bus Co. and for Perkiomen Tours. He was a member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church, where he was a former long time pitcher for their Slow Pitch Softball Team. Paul was a tractor enthusiast and belonged to the Plow Boys in Kutztown and the John Deere Club. He was a life member of the Bally Fire Co. and a member of the Hereford Fire Co.
He is survived by his sons: Ronald Boyer, and his wife, Pat, of Hereford and Garry Boyer, and his wife, Sharon, of Coopersburg; grandchildren: Ron Jr; Stefanie; and Eric and his wife, Kristin; a great-granddaughter, Blair; and nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Ray, Mae, Pearl, Charles, Mabel, and Catherine.
A funeral service will be at 11 AM on Thursday at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, PA 18070. Family and friends, may call from 9:30-10:30AM Thursday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
