Patrick “Pat” M. Durkin, 71, of Spinnerstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Marshall) Durkin for 39 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William and Lavina (Walls) Durkin. He was employed as a heavy machinery operator/engineer, through Operating Engineer Local 542, working for Henkels & McCoy until retiring. He was an incredibly devoted family man, who could fix anything and enjoyed adventures with his family, especially on his beloved boat, the Gypsy Latus.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Patrick Durkin Jr. of Allentown, Dr. John Durkin of Albuquerque, NM, and Katherine Durkin, wife of Hector Sanchez of Pitman, NJ; his grandchildren: Liliana Sanchez, Isabel Sanchez , Yanduell Sanchez, Jayze Sanchez, Hector Sanchez Jr., and Nova Durkin; his brothers: Joseph Durkin and his wife, Linda of New Jersey, and John Durkin of Philadelphia; and his sister, Anne Starsinic, and her husband, Michael of Philadelphia. He was predeceased by a brother, William Durkin.

All are invited to a viewing on Monday, April 3, from 10 – 11AM with a Celebration of Life service at 11AM at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073. He will be laid to rest privately.
