Obituary for Norma Althea Stoudt (Ackerman)

Norma Althea Stoudt, 88, of Richlandtown and formerly of Palm, passed away May 1, 2019. She was the widow of John Allen Stoudt Jr. Born in East Greenville, Norma was a daughter of the late Clyde & Elsie (Deischer) Ackerman. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service starting in 1962 and served as the Postmaster of Palm, PA from 1965 to 1970. She then worked for the former Trexler-Haines, in East Greenville. Finally, she worked for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the office at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. Norma was also a volunteer at the Upper Perkiomen Thrift Shop and was a nature enthusiast.

Surviving is a son, Gregory Stoudt, of Telford; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Clyde Ackerman, and an infant sister, Naomi Ackerman.

A Funeral Mass will be 11 AM on Monday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 10 until services at the church. Interment will follow at Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Bally. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
