Obituary for Marie Clara Shupp (Badman)

Marie C. Shupp, 91, of Pennsburg, passed away at the home of her nephew, Curtis Badman and his wife Deborah, on July 7, 2019. She was the wife of the late Roland Shupp who died in 1997. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Otto and Clara (Seyfarth) Badman. She was also a stepdaughter of Millie P. Badman. She was a sewing machine operator at the former Pennsburg Clothing Factory and then Quakertown from 1945 to 1970. Following that, she was employed at C & D Power Systems from 1977 to 1989. She was a member and active volunteer for the American Legion Auxiliary in Palm for many years.

Marie is survived by her nephews Curtis and Karl and her niece Tina Stelzl and their families, but she was predeceased by her brother, Harold O. Badman and his wife Verna.

She will be interred privately with her husband in the St. John’s Lutheran Church graveyard in Spinnerstown.
