Obituary

Lori A. Burnley, 61, of Palm, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Burnley. They would have celebrated 30 years of marriage in March. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Gloria (Stephens) Harpel. Lori was a 1976 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School where she served as class president. She was an interior designer, working for Educational Furniture Solutions in Norristown for the last four years. Prior to that, she was employed as a Vice President of interior design for STV Inc. in Douglassville for 35 years. She began her career as an illustrator for Knoll in East Greenville. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Red Hill. She also served as a member of the Upper Perkiomen School District Board of Directors.

Surviving with her husband are her son Adam and his wife Katie of Red Hill; and her sister Camile, wife of Dr. Paul Marion of Red Hill.

All are invited to gather with the family from 9 to 10 AM on Thursday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Church Rd., Pennsburg, PA. There will be a celebration of her life in the church sanctuary at 10 AM. Following that, she will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospice, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18017. Visit her “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
