Obituary for Lois Joan Gennaria (Gross)

Lois Joan Laky Gennaria passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the age of 94. Born in Philadelphia in 1927, she was the daughter of the late Clarence “Jack” C. Gross and Annie Sidney (Hand) Gross. Lois was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family, as well as counted cross-stitch, needlework, reading and gardening. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church of Collegeville and a member of the Perkiomen Chapter #318 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children: James Laky and his wife Tina of North Wales, Susan Laky Bayer of Doylestown, and Beth Laky Janis of Barto; her grandchildren: Gregory Sikora and his wife Karen, James Laky and his wife Christi and Nicholas Laky; three great grandchildren: Alex Sikora, Jaxson Laky and Avery Laky; a brother Richard C. Gross and his wife Jean of Sea Isle, NJ and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her stepchildren: John Gennaria and his wife Anne, Rev. Jerome Gennaria and his wife Helen, Henry Gennaria and his wife Sharon, as well as many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands: Frank Laky who died in 1977, and Harold A. Gennaria who died in 2017; and a daughter Joan Laky Sikora who died in 2019.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
