Obituary for Lambert Alonsa "Bud" Shultz Jr.

Lambert "Bud" A. Shultz Jr., 98, of Red Hill passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17th, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Marian Shultz. Born in the small railroad town of Spruce Creek, PA, Bud developed a love for trains at a very young age. He began working on the railroad at the age of 12 years old and developed a lifelong interest of locomotives. He was a son of the late Lambert A. Shultz Sr. and Bessie (Rhine) Shultz. Lambert served our country honorably as a Sergeant in the US Army during WWII. He then went on to be a commercial artist for Container Corp of America in Oaks.

Along with his wife, Bud is survived by his children: Marcia, wife of Jerome Yoder of FL, Teresa, wife of Ray Decandro of Pennsburg, Wally Alderfer and his wife Cheryl of Green Lane and Trevor Alderfer and his wife Rachelle of Quakertown; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Lambert A. Shultz III; and his siblings: Janet and James.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, 6pm, at the Community Baptist Church, 7350 Elementary Rd, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Bud will be interred privately with Military Honors in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery in East Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Community Baptist Church.
