Obituary for Kathleen M. "Kathy" Hoffman (O'Donnell)
Kathleen "Kathy" (O'Donnell) Hoffman, 73, of Kutztown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Bruce Hoffman. Born in the Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Schneider) O'Donnell. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sassamansville as well as the VFW Post 7155 in Trappe.
Kathy cared deeply for the people around her and enjoyed spending time with family reminiscing about the “good ‘ol days”. She had the “gift of gab” and easily talked to anyone. She also liked taking rides to the Jersey Shore, Pocono Mountains and the Lancaster area. But she especially enjoyed spending all of her time with her best friend – her husband.
Along with her husband, she is survived by a brother, Craig O’Donnell, and his wife Sherry of South Carolina; her stepson: Todd Hoffman and his wife Jeneen of Kimberton; her step grandson: Quinn Hoffman; nephews: Timothy and Daniel O'Donnell, her grandniece Tessa Dietrich-O’Donnell and dearly loved cousins.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 27, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg PA 18073 from 9-10:30am, with a Celebration of her Life to follow at 11am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Rd, Sassamansville, PA 19472.
