Obituary for Judie Lee Beadle (Goins)
Judie Lee Beadle (Lichtenwalner), 71, of Palm, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30th, 2019. She was born in West Virginia on September 23rd, 1948 to the late Kathryn L. Ziegler and Rev. Jimmie Lee Goins. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Harvey Lichtenwalner in Kempton, PA.
She is survived by her loving family, her beloved husband of 50 years, Jon S. Beadle, of Palm, daughters, Jestine L. Troutman, of Boyertown, Jan L. Yellets and her husband John, Fogelsville, Son-in-laws, Robert J. Gerhardt and Thomas C. Troutman, Jr. and 5 grandchildren: Alexa Troutman, Dawson Hamershock, Hunter Gerhardt, Gavin Troutman and Avery Yellets. Also surviving are her great aunt Wanda Beadle (Bethlehem) and sister-in-law, Betty Sue Davidheiser, husband Mike, Boyertown, PA. Judie was predeceased by her Uncle Kenny Beadle, sister, Jodie Maute and her beloved daughter, Judie L. Gerhardt in 2015.
Before retiring, Judie worked for many years at Montgomery County Courthouse, Limerick Generating Station and Brown Printing. She passionately enjoyed cooking for her family, reading literature, gardening and spending time with her sweet grandchildren, family and friends. She was an avid collector of Lenox and enjoyed spending time at their cabin in the mountains. She loved animals her entire life, especially her dog, Magoo and cat, Abbey. Judie was also an active member at the VFW, Post 5954, Red Hill, PA, serving as a past President of the Ladies Auxiliary, and member of the American Legion, 184, Palm, PA. Judie was a special person, wife, mother, grandmother and will be sadly missed.
