Obituary for Joseph "Joe" Montalvo II

Joseph Montalvo II, 62, of Pennsburg passed away peacefully on, January 4th, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Christine M. (Sirico) Montalvo. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was a son of Carmen Montalvo of the Bronx, and the late Joseph Montalvo.

Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by his children: Dr. Angela Montalvo and her fiancé Kyle Himmelwright, of Ephrata, Joseph Montalvo III, Esq., of Roanoke, VA, and Catherine Montalvo, of Blacksburg, VA; his sister, Carmen, wife of Joseph Gianotto of, Bronx, NY; and his mother-in-law, Anita Sirico. Along with his father, Joe was predeceased by a brother, Peter Montalvo.

A devoted father, Joe was dedicated to his children and their success, being a guiding light along each of his child’s paths. Joe’s personality was made up of his roots, not only his connections to the Bronx but his connections to sports as well, both as a coach and a fan, especially with his favorite team, the New York Jets. He made a beautiful impact in this world and his legacy will continue on through his family.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in his memory to the American Stroke Association, stroke.org. Visit his “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
