They celebrated 23 years of marriage in June. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John J. and Lynne M. (Smichowski) McGillen. I am saddened by the news of Joe's passing. He was a great guy who loved his family dearly. I was blessed to get to know Joe at Tae Kwon Do where he took his kids. He will truly be missed. Prayers and condolences to the family. 🙏

We miss him so much already Joe was a good man who we all know worked very hard for his family. He never stopped talking about his boys and we know that he did so much with them. You can tell when he spoke of his family that he enjoyed so much those special moments he spent with them. He will be greatly missed God Bless his family . I will keep him in my prayers. Jose N.

As neighbors living on the other side of a line of trees, we enjoyed listening to Joe play with his boys and teaching them how to work and take care of their property. We will truly miss hearing the interaction of a loving father interested in the welfare and the future of his growing family.
