Obituary for James Lee "Jim" Siwert
James L. (Jim) Siwert, 61, Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28th, 2022, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of Wendy S. (Janney) Siwert with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Doylestown, he was a son of the late Arnold and Regina (Garner) Siwert. Jim worked for Allan Myers for 35 years and served in numerous positions from laborer to most recently the Corporate Office Campus Maintenance Coordinator in the Worcester location. He always made sure everyone, and everything was taken care of just like family. Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, gardening, and landscaping.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Amy, wife of Chris Golla, and Gabrielle, wife of Derik Wimmer, both of Palm; his granddaughter: Delaney Wimmer, and his grandson yet to be born, Dillon Wimmer; and his siblings: Arnold Jr. Quakertown, Sharin, wife of Gerald Marcucci, of Willow Grove, Shirley, wife of Peter Stauffer, of Conestoga, PA, Debra, wife of Danny Schaffer, of Quakertown, and Tina Shema of Roslyn, PA. He is also survived by his faithful companions, his dogs, Lexi and Rudy and his grandpuppies: Tessa and Wyatt. He was predeceased by a grandson: Brandon Caleb.
All are invited to gather with his family from 6 pm on Tuesday, September 6 to share memories. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 7 pm. At the completion of the service, all are invited to continue to share memories with his family until 9 pm.
