Obituary for Helen Anne Stahl (Klink)

Helen Anne Stahl, 88, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2020. She was the wife of the late Francis Stahl, who died in 2003. Born in Pennsburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul D. and Blanche (March) Klink. She was raised in Pennsburg where her father owned Klink Electric and she graduated from Pennsburg High in 1950. She and her husband ran Stahl’s Race Center which became Stahl’s Hobby Center and was one of the first public slot car tracks in the United States. They offered the track and other amusements such as pinball and pool tables for over 50 years, before closing. Residents of the Upper Perkiomen Valley spent many enjoyable hours at Stahl’s in Pennsburg and she was thought of as another Mom to many. Later in life, she became an avid bingo player and enjoyed visiting casinos. Her family was always her first priority and she also loved her dogs.

Helen is survived by her children: Beverly, wife of William Kalb, of East Greenville; Terry, and his wife Susan, of East Greenville; Lori, wife of Michael Gross, of California; Scott and Kevin, with whom she resided; and Karin, wife of Walter Rutko, of Corning, PA; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Due to the current health crisis, services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Logan’s Heros, 9411 Kings Hwy, East Greenville, PA 18041.
