Obituary for Heinz A. Herrmann

Heinz Herrmann, 99, from the Vineyards in Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 with his daughters by his side. He was the beloved spouse of the late Mary (Davis) Herrmann who passed earlier this year in January. He was the son of the late Max Herrmann and Meta (Meuller) Herrmann. Born in Auerbach, Germany and immigrated to this country when he was seven. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He served in Counterintelligence as an interpreter. His distinguished military service is recorded in the Library of Congress.

He and his wife were members of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church. He founded and owned Green Lane Tool and Die Company. Heinz was a member of the local Rotary International and a member of the Free Masons. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and stamp collector.

Heinz is survived by his daughters: Linda, wife of William Gebert of Pennsburg; Rebecca, wife of Ronald Mikanowicz of Red Hill; his grandchildren: Adam, Stephanie, Aimee, Jennifer, Bradley and Steven; and his great-grandchildren: Chad, Cody, Jacob, Alexis, Nathalie, Remy, Maggie, and Maleah; and also his extended family: Gary, Vivian and Joe Miller. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary and son, Robert Herrmann.
