Billy, I have been struggling to find the words, i miss you more than I ever knew I would! Our years together seemed at times to be an eternity, and now seem so brief, you were an amazingly loving man. You had so much light in you when you where with the ones you loved, I know you are at ease and in no pain, I am so grateful for the laughter, the heart aches, the joy and the grief. The strength and honor you showed truly made me appreciate you more than I can express. The happiest days of of life way out way our difficult times. I will always love you! Rest easy and know that you made life interesting, know that you were a great father and husband and friend! I will be back here frequently as I find a way to convey the thoughts. ❤️

I miss you, I'm so happy and grateful for your loving arms and taking me in at my lowest point and helping me strive for excellence. You always put everyone else's happiness above yours. You were and still are an amazing brother in law father and husband. I hope I can find the pictures of you and austin from last year and I will post them. You'll always be in our memories and i know someone will always have a story to share about you. Every time I see a jeep and go to the beach the waves crashing in will remind me of you. Austin and I will always miss you. Austin loves you so much. Im lucky for the times we had with you. I love you

Very sad to hear this news. Sending love , peace and comfort to family and friends
Wish we never lost touch, just wrote this song just now in your honor my friend.

Billy The Cowboy
We was just kids livin down in the village, down by the beach and makin a fuss
We’d bring out the Dead and turn up the music, rolled our own cigs and kicked up some dust
In the town of Loch Arbor, by the Asbury tower we’d swim in Deal lake
And ride the big surf
We rode the waves hard and learned to drive cars
Lived every minute for all it was worth

Ah Billy your a cowboy, a cowboy my friend
Maybe I’ll see ya in the big sky again
I wished I knew ya better, but time rolls by us fast
Wish we had just one more drink and just one laugh

We’d sit in the cottage and sing our songs fine, laughed at the world most of the time
Jack Kerouac , Dylan and Leary, weary of rules and refused to be tied
Wed sit in the field play our guitars, talk about Hobbits wizards and Bards
Electric Kool aid – We read Robert Hunter we gazed at the sky and pulled down the thunder

Ah Billy your a cowboy, a cowboy my friend
Maybe I’ll see ya in the big sky again
I wished I knew ya better, but time rolls by us fast
Wish we had just one more drink and just one laugh

We was just kids livin down in the village, down by the beach and makin a fuss
We’d bring out the Dead and turn up the music, rolled our own cigs and kicked up some dust
Ah Billy your a cowboy, a cowboy my friend
Maybe I’ll see ya in the big sky again

Vaya Con Dios
