Obituary for Gregory Paul "Greg" McLaughlin

Gregory "Greg" P. McLaughlin, a man who knew and appreciated the value of a plain hamburger followed swiftly by a cold glass of milk (and he ensured that he always had an icy, frozen mug waiting in the freezer for such a delicacy), passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 5, 2022. When he passed, he was surrounded by his beloved wife Carole L. (Steich) McLaughlin and his faithful dogs. He and Carole would have celebrated 41 years of marriage on January 10. Greg was a man who was always happiest when he was on the go exploring the country with his wife, traveling the world for welding work, wrestling with his four grandkids, walking with his family and dogs, or at the beach. Greg was also an infectiously energetic man who brightened the room whenever he entered, and one needed to only have spent a few moments in his company to have learned such things.

Along with his wife, Greg is survived by his son, Gregory Jr, and his wife, Jennifer, of White Haven, PA; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hunter, Gabe, and Ameline; his brother, Hugh McLaughlin Jr, and his wife Doris, of Seaford, DE; and his sister-in-law, Liz, of Lake Ariel, PA. He was predeceased by his sister, Ele Ruth Hanshew, who passed on December 14, 2021; his brothers, Fred and Neil; and his parents, Hugh F. Sr., and E. Ruth (Plummer) McLaughlin.

All are invited to a Celebration of Greg's Life at 11 am on Jan 29, 2022 at Caitlyn & Cody's Restaurant, 1907 John Fries Highway, Quakertown, PA 18951. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in his memory to the Last Chance Ranch, lastchanceranch.org, or by mail to 9 Beck Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Falk Funeral Home in Pennsburg. Visit Greg's "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhome.com
