Obituary for Glenna Mutter (Kulp)

Glenna Mutter, 96, of Red Hill, and formerly of Pennsburg passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 12, 2019. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Mutter who passed away in 2008. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Young) Kulp. She worked in several sewing factories in the Upper Perkiomen Valley with her last employment being in the former Sumneytown Clothing Factory. She was a long-time member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sumneytown.

Glenna leaves behind a son Arlen P. Mutter of Quakertown; a daughter Alison, wife of Joseph Rogala of Royersford; her beloved grandchildren: Rebecca, wife of Ray Shive, Jill, wife of Patrick Zempel, Stephanie, wife of Jim Gadsby, and Justin and his wife Jami Mensch; and her great grandchildren: Andrew and his wife Ashley, Rachel and her fiancée Wilgen Rivera, Kylee, Deacon, Brittin, Race, Steeley, Taylor, and Gavin. She was predeceased by all of her siblings: Harold, Clyde and Paul Kulp, Naomi Godshall, and Elsie Heacock.

All are invited to gather from 10 – 11 AM on Monday to visit with her family at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St, Pennsburg. A Celebration of her life officiated by Rev. Rebecca Shanely will begin at 11 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Frieden’s Union Cemetery in Sumneytown.
