Fern D. Hein, 92, of Gilbertsville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021. She was the wife of the late Roy J. Hein who passed in 2009. Born in Sassamansville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Augustus B. Renninger and Elsie (Stengel) Renninger. Fern worked as a cashier for over 25 years at the former A&P then Super Fresh Grocery Stores, first in Pottstown, and then in Royersford, and finally in King of Prussia. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Royersford.

She is survived by her son Brian and his wife Denise of Whitehall, PA; her daughter-in-law; Nancy Hein of Sellersville; her grandchildren: Tiffany, Erin, Lauren, Meredith, and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren: Thomas John and Alanna, and Jemma. She was predeceased by her son Alan who passed in 2016 and her siblings: Kathryn, Earl, Helen, Mabel, Irma, Allen, Willard, and Claude.

All are invited to gather at 1 PM on Thursday, November 18th, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery 1809 Hoffmansville Rd., Sassamansville, PA 19472 for an interment service to be held at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 594 Church St. 1St Floor, Royersford, PA 19468.
