Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" Hoch

Elizabeth “Betty” M. Hoch, 95, formerly of Palm, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022. She was the wife of the late Alfred Hoch who passed away in 2008. Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Beulah (Hoffman) Schott. She helped her husband with the paperwork for his automobile business in Palm and raised her six children. Betty was very proud of her flower gardens. In retirement, she and her husband enjoyed time in Florida. However, the most important thing in Betty’s life was her family.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Ellen Hoch of Pennsburg, sons: Alfred III of Green Lane, Larry of Pennsburg, Terry and his wife Kim, of Zionsville, and her daughter, Sally, wife of Dan Grim of Barto; her grandchildren: Heidi, James, Matthew, Justin, Jared, Jenna, Sarah, Michael, Tyler; her great Grandchildren: Dylan, Dawson, Dana, Dax, Tyler, Aidan, Olivia, Lucas, Benjamin, and Annabelle; and her great great grandchildren, Adrian, and Carter. She was predeceased by her brothers: Earl, Willard, and Collier; her son Randall Hoch; and her granddaughter Wendy Criblear.

All are invited to gather on Tuesday, December 6th from 9 -10 am at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 10 am with Rev. K. Russel Crouthamel officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest with her husband in Huff’s Church Cemetery.
