Douglas B. Hetrick Sr., 80, of Seisholtzville, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Marlyn (Hobbs) Hetrick. They celebrated 57 years of marriage in June. While in school, he was a member of the Future Farmers of America. His passions in life were farming and going to auctions but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He also worked for Texas Eastern Pipeline for 28 years. He was a member of Butter Valley Community Church in Bally.
Surviving with his wife are his children: Douglas Jr. and his husband Richard Baer of Jamestown, NY, and Michael and his wife Kelly, Brian and his wife Susan, and Jennifer, wife of Keith Haring, all of Seisholtzville; his beloved grandchildren: Kyle, Justin, Victoria Benfield (Adam), Brent, Colby, Amber, Hunter, Madison, and Gracie; and his sister, Alice “Faye”, wife of Leo Mutter of Bally.
All are invited to a viewing on Friday evening from 6 – 8 PM and Saturday from 9 – 11 AM prior to services in the sanctuary at Butter Valley Community Church, 2600 Old Rt. 100, Bally, PA 19503.
