Obituary for Dorothy Thern (Brownlee)

Dorothy Thern, 82, of Red Hill, passed away with her family by her side on January 11, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl Thern who preceded her in December. Born in Germantown, she was a daughter to the late Louis and Alma (Schwalm) Brownlee. Dorothy was an x-ray technician. She spent many years volunteering for the GAiN Ministry in Lancaster and for the Luscarora Lutheran Conference Center in Bethel, PA.

She is survived by her daughters: Cheryl, wife of James Stauffer of Barto and Chris, wife of Matthew Conver of Lawrenceville, NJ; grandchildren: Jacob and Nicole Stauffer, Ethan and Sarah Conver; and a sister Nancy Myers of Willow Grove; and her nieces and nephews.

All are invited to a Celebration of her life at 12pm on Thursday at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm PA 18070. A viewing will be from 11am until services at church
