Obituary for Doris Rene Sites (Fluck)

Doris Rena Sites, 74, of Green Lane, passed peacefully at home on May 19, 2019, surrounded by her family. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (DeLong) Fluck. Doris began her career at Ford Aerospace for 10 years, and then worked for 22 years as a supervisor and analyst for Judson Technologies in Montgomeryville. She completed her career as a receptionist for the Open Link in Pennsburg.

Doris is a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. She was a Lifetime Member of the Green Lane-Marlborough Lioness Club; as well as a member of the Purple Hat Club of the Open Link Center. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, gardening and always being surrounded by a wide variety of flowers. She also enjoyed traveling; her favorite trip being a cruise to Alaska. Doris loved her family, especially her 5 grandchildren, to whom she was known as "Mom Mom" and "DD." They brought her great joy, especially at the holidays when she would bake cookies with them or hide Easter eggs for them.

Surviving are children: Scott Sites, and his wife, Gretchen, of Trabuco Canyon, CA; and Sheila, wife of Kirk Ruth, of Barto; grandchildren: Brandon, Gabriel, and Erika Rodenberger; and Sadie and Scarlett Sites; siblings: James “Jeff” Karom, and his wife, Andrea, of East Greenville; and Phyllis, wife of Frank Buza, of East Greenville; and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her siblings: Richard and Edith Fluck.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12PM on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Friends may visit from 10-12PM.
