Dennis E. Ross Jr., 64, of Robesonia passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Dennis E. Ross Sr. and Rita (Bush). After his 1975 graduation from Governor Mifflin, he served his country honorably in the Navy, aboard the USS Forrestal (CV-59) from 1975-1979. He then began a long career in the trucking industry and was most recently a Supervisor for ABF Freight in Reading. Dennis could also often be found at Shillington Laundromat which he operated since 2003. He previously served as president of the Womelsdorf Fire Company social quarters and let his fun-loving personality shine while competing along with friends in various bowling leagues. He enjoyed traveling with friends and family, always providing plenty of love and laughter.

Dennis is loved and survived by his children: Jennifer L Wallace of Leesport, and Dennis E. Ross III (Jenelle) of Harleysville, as well as four grandchildren: Cameron and Charlotte Wallace, and Kylie and Logan Ross. He will also be greatly missed by his three siblings, Arthur Blatt, Rita Hivner, and Denise Pennypacker, as well as a close group of friends and family.

Dennis will be interred with honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003, on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 12:30 pm. All are welcome to attend.
