Obituary for Delores C. Destan (Kershner)
Delores C. Destan, 88, of East Greenville, passed away January 20, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Theodore Destan. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Minnie (White) Kershner. Delores was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Niantic. Although Delores was involved in the family business, Pennsburg Electric, her central focus was her family. She was the caretaker for many older family members, and then took joy in her grandchildren later in life. She was also known to have a green thumb.
Surviving are her children: Ted, and his wife, Lucy, of Gilbertsville; and Linda Destan, of Emmaus; grandchildren: Jessalyn, Timothy, Andrew, and Destan; and a brother, the Rev. Sherwood Kershner, of Emmaus. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Claudetta Laudenslager.
