Obituary for Dan Bretz

Daniel “Dan” Bretz, 64, of Pennsburg, passed away on April 10, 2022, due to complications following heart surgery. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry and Beatrice Bretz. He was a hard-working auto mechanic, surpassing his 45th year anniversary at North Penn Imports in Colmar. He was a loving and generous man, supporting his family and helping people in times of need.

Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine; his daughters, Alyssa and Megan who meant the world to him; his brothers Stephen and Michael; his stepsons, Matthew, Daniel, and James; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip and Thomas.

All are invited to gather with his family to share memories from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, April 14, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Dan was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, giving Silver Linings Playbook a run for its money! Please come wearing Eagles attire to honor Dan.
