Obituary for Dale Murray Miller

Dale M. Miller, 85, of Lutz, FL and formerly of Telford, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Joan M. (Miller) Miller. Born in Red Hill, Dale was a son to the late Charles B. and Elsie (Schwartz) Miller. He served our country honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War. Dale was a member St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sumneytown, the Souderton Legion Post #234, and worked at Grand View Hospital for over 50 years in the Cytology and Pathology Lab, retiring in 1999.

Along with his wife Joan of 64 years, he is survived by his children: Dean, and his wife Brenda of Odessa, FL, Joy Miller with whom they resided in Lutz, FL, and Suzanne O’Brien and her husband Richard of Ambler; grandchildren: Derek and his wife Bridgit of Odessa, FL, Amanda Miller of Plymouth Meeting, Kasey and Shawn O’Brien of Ambler; a great grandson Andrew, and a brother Barry of Red Hill. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Roy and Carey Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11 AM at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3104 Main St., Green Lane, PA 18054. Family and friends are welcome to call beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Friedens Union Cemetery.
