Charles “Bud” Cover Jr., 72, of Hereford passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Cindy Cover. Born in East Falls, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Charles William Cover Sr. and the late Barbara (Keim) Wandres. He served his country honorably in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a diesel mechanic for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until retiring in 2010. Never one to sit still, Bud worked part time at Pitt Ohio as a truck driver before retiring in 2018. Bud was a member of American Legion Post #184 in Palm and devoted many years of his life raising awareness of POW/MIAs and supporting veterans.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Amanda (Jeremy) of Mont Clare, PA, Elizabeth (Tyler) of Allentown, PA, and Jacob and his wife Amber of East Greenville; his grandchildren: Ryan Ewing and Olivia Cover. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard, and Kenneth.
