Obituary for Carmel Josephine Romich (Eichele)
Carmel J. Romich, 97, of the Frederick Living Community, passed away April 14, 2019. She was the widow of Jacob L. Romich. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Eugene H. and Elsie B. (Kline) Eichele. Carmel was a hairdresser for over 33 years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg.
Surviving is a son, Terry and his wife, Kathleen, of Green Lane; grandchildren: Heather Mack and her companion Jeffrey Spillane of Zionsville; and Julie, wife of Casey O’Donnell, of Douglasville; and a great-grandson, Connor Mack. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Joyce Overly.
Funeral Services will be on Friday at 10:30 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA. A viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Spinnerstown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
