Obituary for Betty Marie Treffinger (Reiman)
Betty Marie Treffinger, 87, of Pennsburg, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Floyd Treffinger Jr. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of Raymond C. and Margaret M. (Stevens) Reiman. Betty was a 1951 graduate of East Greenville High School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill, where she was a long-time member of the Kitchen Committee and a former member of Consistory. Earlier in life, she was a Girl Scout Leader in East Greenville for over 10 years, was an officer in the former Green Lane Elementary PTA, and a past Secretary of the American Legion, Post #184 Ladies’ Auxiliary.
Surviving with her husband, are children: Denise Ruff, of Emmaus; Alan Treffinger, and his wife, Lisa, of East Greenville; Scott Treffinger, and his fiancée, Susan DePaul, of Lansdale; Renee, wife of David Mauer, of Barto; and Lori, wife of Craig Frank, of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Stephanie, Lindsey, Travis, Brendan, Connor, Ty, Cody, Logan & Leah; great-grandchildren: Sierra, Carter, Justice, Kavan, Ezra, Evelyn, and Holden; a brother: Larry Reiman, and his wife, Nancy, of Genesse, PA; and a sister: Shirley Brey, of Barto. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Richard and Marvin Reiman.
