Obituary for Benjamin Franklin Yingst III

Benjamin Franklin Yingst, III, 66, of Boyertown, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, May 17th, 2021. Born in Doylestown, Pennsylania, he was the son of Toshiko (Nishimura) Yingst of Colorado Springs, Colorado and the late Benjamin Franklin Yingst, Jr. Ben (or Butch, as his family and older friends knew him) was a graduate of Central Bucks West High School (Doylestown) class of 1972. He was the owner and operator of Hudson’s Outfitters & Firearms (Pottstown, Pennsylvania) and formerly worked for Accusport and Mopac. His hobbies consisted of hunting and other outdoor activities, traveling, and, more recently, collecting bad tattoos. Ben turned his lifelong talents into an expertise that led to a very successful business in Hudson’s Outfitters. He was known to be a record-setting hunter, an excellent golfer and skier, a dedicated pet owner, a selfless friend, and a loving father, brother, son, mentor, and partner.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his children: sons: Bryan Yingst of Boyertown, Pennsylvania and James Yingst of Collingswood, New Jersey; daughter Riley Yingst and his stepdaughter Shelby Thomas both of Barto, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Julia Yingst and Henry Yingst; his sister Alice (Yingst) Vanderford and brother-in-law Cork Vanderford; nieces Marisa Meyers, Chloe (Vanderford) Rizzo, and nephew Jason Marks; his daughter-in-law Debra Nessenthaler; and his girlfriend Doreen Kuhn.
