Barry Jon Tomlinson, Esq., 63, of East Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Booth) Tomlinson for 35 years. Born in Gettysburg, Barry was the son of Arlene (Rush) Tomlinson of East Greenville and the late Allen Tomlinson. Barry graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1976 where he played football, basketball, and tennis. He attended Muhlenberg College and Delaware Law School where he earned his doctorate of Law Degree. He joined the Tomlinson & Gerhart Law Firm in 1985 where he served the community until he retired in 2018. Barry was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville where he served on Consistory and Search Committees. He was a member of the Perkiomen Lodge, #595 of the F.&A.M.. Barry was president of the former Upper Perkiomen Jaycees, as well as a member of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Library Board. He was a member and served on the golf committee of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Barry was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf, as well as, traveling and seeing Broadway shows in NYC.
Along with his wife and mother, Barry is survived by his daughters, grandchildren; and many family members and friends.
Please join the family for a Celebration of Barry’s life on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Macoby Run Golf Course, 5275 McLean Station Rd, Green Lane, PA 18054, from noon to 3pm, with a Masonic Service and memory sharing beginning at 12:30pm. Casual and comfortable attire is suggested.
