Obituary for Barbara W. Christman (Wilson)

Barbara W. Christman, 89, of Pennsburg Manor passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Robert C. Christman. Born in Lambertville, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Flora (Williamson) Wilson. Barbara was a secretary, last serving at the Perkiomen Valley School District. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown where she was active with the newsletter committee and the choir. She was a member of the Perkiomen Chapter #318 of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron. Barbara enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, bird watching, reading, and playing the piano. She was an avid doll collector.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children: Deborah (Ealy), wife of Daniel Moyer, of Quarryville & Paul Ealy of Pottstown; stepchildren: Sheree, wife of Lee Horn, of Douglassville, Scott Christman, and his wife, Jill of Bradenton, FL, and Kevin Christman, and his wife, Heather, of Nokomis, FL; siblings: Virginia Rahn, of Waynesboro, PA and Alfred Wilson, of State College, a grandson: Danny Moyer; 7 step-grandchildren: Devon, Ryan, Jonathan, Zachary, Jacob, Noah, and Nathan; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Mark Ealy, and a sister, Flora Homer.

A viewing will be on Tuesday, January 24th from 12PM to 1 PM followed by a funeral service at 1 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3231 Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA 18104. Burial will follow at the Niantic Union Cemetery, Barto.
