Obituary for Anthony Joseph "Joe" Riccio Jr.

Anthony Joseph (Joe) Riccio, Jr. 61, of Phoenixville and formerly of Pennsburg, entered his heavenly home on April 25,2020. He was the son the late Anthony J. and Sara L. (Myers) Riccio. Joe graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1977 and Kutztown University. He was a former history teacher at Cheltenham School District as well as long-term substitute teacher in other school districts. He was an avid sports fan and served as assistant football coach for St. Pius High School, Souderton High School, Upper Perkiomen High School and Strayer Middle School. Joe loved his family and had a strong faith in the Lord. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joe is survived by Tracey Bryant, his close companion of many years in addition to sisters, Mary, wife of Perry Scheetz, Priscilla, wife of Frank Buck, and Anna Maria, wife of Frank Aguilar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and his uncle, Charles Myers. He was predeceased by his younger brother, Clement F. Riccio.

The family would like to celebrate Joe’s life with a memorial service which will be announced at a future date.
