Obituary for Andrew Rudolph Ferketich Jr.

Andrew Rudolph Ferketich said his goodbye on November 18, 2019 and went to heaven… 'cause he heard the fishing was better there. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family. He and Patricia (Swartz) Ferketich celebrated 63 years of marriage together. They met down at the Pizza Shop in Sumneytown when he left the air out of her tire to get a chance to meet her. ‘Cause when he decided he wanted something, he would get pretty clever figuring out how to make it happen. He was a self-made man. Loved his family, his friends, the car business, tennis, the river home, and fishing.
Surviving with his wife are his children: Keith and his wife Maria; Kevin and his wife Kimberly; Andrew ‘Kraig’ and his wife Felecia; and Kelly, wife of Tom Weiss; grandchildren and great grandchildren he adored: Melissa, Andrea, Erin, Zachary, Nicholas, Vanessa, Ian, Palmer, Noah, Jonah, Brooke, Hunter, and Isla. He came from a big family. He is survived by his sister, Helen Prutzer, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by siblings: Rose, Millie, John, Mary, Steve, Elsie, and Emil.
At Andy’s request, there will be no formal services. Just raise a glass to him. That’s what he would want. To offer your condolences to the family, please visit his “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
