Obituary for Allen E. Shoener
Allen Eugene Shoener of Telford passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, peacefully at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Schreiner) Shoener. A 1963 graduate of North Penn High School in Lansdale. He served our country honorably in the US Army and had a tour in Vietnam from January 1967 to January 1968. He was employed for over 30 years as an electrician for Merck. Allen was a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to Grandview Speedway. He was also an avid pool player and avid reader.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Joy (Lunger) Shoener, his dear family and friends.
A memorial service with military honors to honor his life will be Friday, August 26, 2022, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St, Pennsburg at 11:30am, family and friends are welcome to visit beginning at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to VFW Forrest Lodge, Post 245, 2118 Old Bethlehem Pike, Sellersville PA 18960 where he served as past Commander.
